Roulette Betting
If you are a newcomer in the field of playing Roulette you may get slightly intimidated by the Roulette wheel. However, the game is quite simple and with a little understanding you can learn the game quickly. Read on the methodology to follow while placing bets on the Roulette table.
The types of Roulette bets
When betting on Roulette you shall either place your chips on the numbers or in between the numbers that are present on the Roulette game table. Thus, if you wish to place multiple bets (more than one number bet) - you can place your chips on the borders of both the numbers and thereby split the bet between both the numbers.
- If you place your bet on "PASSE" then it means that you are betting on the last eighteen numbers i.e. from number 19 to number 36.
- If you place a bet on PAIR it means that you are betting on an even number.
- If you bet on IMPAIR it means that you are betting on an odd number.
- BLACK in opposition to RED
- A first twelve numbers bet i.e. number 1 to number 12
- If you place a chip on the border of the respective numbers it covers all the numbers from number 12 to number 36. This bet means that you have bet fifty percent of the chips worth on each third.
- When you place a left column bet it means that you are betting on all the size of the numbers in respective column that (numbers) are placed on top of your chip.
- Left Column bet and Middle column bet mean you are betting 50 percent of the chip's value on the respective columns.
- Betting on 6 numbers means that you have placed a bet on the numbers in each of two rows in which the placing of the chip is on the borders.
- A four number bet means that you bet on four numbers that include a zero.
- A Four number bet on a Quadrant is also referred to as 'Carré' e.g. 9, 10, 11, 12
- Betting on 3 numbers sequence e.g.: 30, 31, 32
- Betting on 2 numbers sequence is also referred to as "A Cheval" e.g. 17-18
- Betting on a single unique number and also referred to as "en plein" e.g. number 20
- Betting on zero also referred to as "en plein" and is similar to betting on a single unique number.
